Centre d'art La Malmaison
Following extensive restructuring and expansion work, the La Malmaison Contemporary Art Center is reopening in a new configuration, featuring a modernized exhibition space that has been tripled in size, while respecting the building’s historical character. The Cannes City Council seeks to make this venue a flagship for contemporary art by offering a program with international scope.
To mark its reopening, the City Council will inaugurate the venue on Friday, January 31, 2025, starting at 6:00 PM. On this occasion, the landmark exhibition “Luxe, Calme et Volupté” will be revealed. This exhibition highlights a selection of works by artists from the 19th to the 21st century who were inspired by the stunning landscapes of the South of France.
A lively and colorful program will welcome visitors during this inaugural evening. Furthermore, the art center will offer free admission throughout the weekend of February 1st and 2nd, 2025.
